Officials have identified the person who died in an Orchards area motor home fire Sunday as a 45-year-old man. Lonnie Hagan died of smoke inhalation, ruled an accident, according to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office. The agency did not have his city of residence. Crews from the Vancouver Fire Department responded to the blaze in the 6500 block of 121st Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found flames shooting from the 33-foot motor home and quickly extinguished the blaze from the outside. Once they got inside they found Hagan’s body. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that the death appears to be accidental and caused by mechanical problems with the motor home, but the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
