Camas – There will be a single lane closure Friday on Northwest 38th Avenue between Northwest Parker Street and Northwest Astor Street. Traffic will be affected for the full day.
The construction is part of a Northwest Natural Gas reinforcement project. Work will be done on an 1,800-foot section bored horizontally underground. There are three separate strings of pipe to be connected and pulled through the segment, according to a release from the city.
The pipeline improvement project will serve the growing Camas population.
