Camas — Representing Washington, Shelby Meader scored a Top 10 finish in the Miss USA pageant earlier this month in Las Vegas. Meader spent more than week in Las Vegas and had plenty of support; her mother, Debbie Meader; father, John Meader; brother, AJ Meader; and boyfriend, Derek Sayer, all made the trip with her. Meader, who volunteers with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington in Vancouver, is also working toward her MBA and works at iQ Credit Union. In the days after the pageant, Meader spent some time in Las Vegas with Sayer, as the two were whisked around to various appearances at nightclubs and pool parties.
