The local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will host an ecumenical day of prayer today. The event — aimed at promoting hope, peace and unity — is 2 to 4 p.m. at Clark College’s Gaiser Hall, located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. It’s free and open to all.
The NAACP is the oldest civil rights organization in the United States.
