Portland – An “airport rehearsal” at Portland International Airport originally scheduled for this Saturday was rescheduled for Jan. 28. The event was postponed due to the weather forecasted for this weekend.
Families can take part in Sky’s the Limit, which introduces children with autism to the process of taking a flight, including check in, going through security, boarding the plane and simulating take off and landing. Families will check in by 1:45 p.m. Jan. 28 at the airport.
Sky’s the Limit is put on by Alaska Airlines and the Autism Society of Oregon. The event is limited to 150 people, and registration is required.
