A man was arrested Saturday after a shooting in Ridgefield that injured one person.
The shooting was reported about 2:20 p.m. by the suspect, who told 911 dispatchers he had shot someone in the 900 block of Simons Street and had walked to the Ridgefield Police Department office to turn himself him, according to emergency radio traffic.
The man remained outside the office as Ridgefield Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office converged on the scene and took him into custody at 2:40 p.m.
The victim was found in an apartment in the 900 block of Simons Street. An ambulance was dispatched and the Clark County Major Crimes team called in to investigate.
