A fight between dogs belonging to transients reportedly erupted into a brawl that hurt three people outside of a downtown Vancouver bar tonight, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.
The fight was reported at about 10 p.m. at Boomers Sports Bar & Grill, 611 Main St. When emergency crews arrived, they found a patient with stab wounds and dog bites, and two other injured people, according to radio traffic. As crews arrived, others involved in the street fight fled, creating a chaotic scene.
Those injured were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, according to radio traffic. As of about 10:25 p.m., at least one person had been detained and another was at large, according to radio traffic. The at-large suspect was described over the radio as a white male with a ponytail that’s about 12 inches long and who was wearing a black hoodie and Carhartt jeans.
