Washington State University Vancouver is seeking nominations for three 2017 Distinguished Woman of the Year Awards, the school announced Wednesday.
The awards recognize women who have been mentors, and inspired or empowered others.
WSU seeks nominations in three categories.
• WSU Vancouver students
• Local high school students
• Non-students regardless of WSU Vancouver affiliation
Nomination forms are available at studentaffairs.vancouver.wsu.edu/student-involvement/women-distinction-nomination.
Nominations are due by Feb. 28.
Nominees and award winners will be recognized at the university’s annual Women of Distinction event March 30 to coincide with Women’s History Month.
