Police detonated explosive materials and brought out a SWAT team for a search at a Brush Prairie home Thursday. Clark County Sheriff's Sgt. Duncan Hoss said the search targeted stolen property and was part of an ongoing investigation. The search, at 10307 N.E. 119th St., temporarily blocked the road. Hoss said officers with the Metropolitan Explosive Disposal Unit, the regional bomb squad, detonated some blasting caps and detonation cord found during the search. Officers arrested two people at the residence in the course of the search on unrelated outstanding warrants, Hoss said. The search was largely routine, Hoss said, adding that because the home and property were fairly large, SWAT officers were brought out for extra manpower.
