A suspect led officers Monday on a short foot chase near Harney Elementary School.
The Vancouver Police Department received word that a wanted man, Ryan Hentz, 33, was at a home in the 600 block of Ash Street. When officers went to contact Hentz, he ran.
Officers caught up with and apprehended Hentz in the 700 block of Ash Street. He was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony eluding and residential burglary, along with two warrants for residential burglary. Police said additional charges may be pending.
