Overturned tractor trailer blocks I-5 ramp to SR-14

An overturned tractor trailer is blocking the ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to state Highway 14. The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m., with Washington State Department of Transportation reporting the ramp would be closed until further notice. The driver of the rig, which was hauling a load of pipes, was taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center with minor injuries, Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said. A tow truck is on its way to remove the vehicle, Finn said, though he advised motorists coming from the Portland area should expect delays and use an alternate route until troopers have the incident scene cleared. Traffic in Portland does not seem to be affected.
