A Battle Ground man faces charges after law enforcement said he caused a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Mill Plain Sunday night.
Larry Grant, 34, was driving a 2002 Volkswagen Passat south on the highway when just before 10 p.m. he struck the left corner of a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu that was also traveling south, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Passat then continued on and struck a 2005 Dodge Neon, pushing it off to the shoulder, and then the Passat continued rotating and struck a 2005 Ford Freestyle, state patrol said.
The driver of the Freestyle, Isabel Ruizvidal, 30, of Vancouver, was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Her condition was not immediately available.
Two other vehicle occupants were injured but not taken to a hospital, state patrol reported.
Troopers said that inattention caused the crash and that Grant will face charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless endangerment.
