A forum scheduled for Nov. 16, organized by the Columbia River Economic Development Council and the Washington State University Vancouver’s Business Growth Mentor & Analysis Program, will discuss the rise of entrepreneurship in Clark County.

The event will feature panelists Amey Laud, founder of math education software developer Hiperware Labs; Jon Maroney, an entrepreneur and key player in the Oregon Angel Fund, which helps fund startups; and Max Mikhaylenko, founder of work-share business Columbia Collective, which rents office space to entrepreneurs and startups.

The forum will also function as the monthly Business Growth MAP Alliance meeting.

The panel will take place 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Pacific Continental Bank’s Community Room, 101 E. Sixth St., Vancouver. Tickets are $15 and include breakfast. To reserve a ticket, visit credc.org/events.
