The Vancouver Police Department’s major crimes unit is asking for the public’s help to match a pair of tattoos to their owner, and are circulating images of the tattoos to solicit tips in an effort to identify her.

The case in question involves an unidentified, 20-30 year old white woman with brown hair and light-colored eyes. She’s about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds.

One of the tattoos, on her right forearm, has the Seattle Seahawks logo. The second, on her right shoulder, is a fairy with a flower.

Vancouver police Detective Carole Boswell declined to share the nature of the case, saying investigators were concerned that would compromise the investigation, but added it’s connected to a serious, non-property related crime.

The department encouraged those who recognize the tattoos and might know their wearer to call the department’s tip line at 360-487-7399 and leave a name, contact number and whatever useful information they have for investigators to review.
