Battle Ground police ask that anyone with information on a hit-and-run involving a motorhome contact Detective Rick Kelly at 360-342-5242 or rick.kelly@cityofbg.org. (Battle Ground Police Department)

The Battle Ground Police Department is seeking help to identify the driver of a motorhome involved in a property hit-and-run. Witnesses reported seeing the motorhome hit and damage property near the corner of Northeast Grace Avenue and Northeast 10th Street about 12:30 p.m. April 3, according to Battle Ground police. After the crash, the driver reportedly stopped, put the vehicle in reverse and took off, traveling south on Northeast Grace Avenue, police said. Witnesses captured photos of the motorhome, described as a blue and white boxy 70s-era motorhome. Officers also found a photo of a motorhome in a March Craigslist ad for the vehicle’s sale in Battle Ground that officers believe to be the same one involved in the crime. Police say that the ad has since been pulled and it supplied no information about the driver. The driver of the motorhome was described as a white male wearing a white hat and white jacket or shirt. Anyone with information on vehicle or identity of the driver is asked to contact Detective Rick Kelly at 360-342-5242 or rick.kelly@cityofbg.org.  Anonymous tips can be made at www.cityofbg.org/tips.
